I wrote the book entitled: “The Synagogue and the Church: filiation, divorce and reconciliation”. This subject has been close to my heart for years, and it was high time that I summarized it for all those who are interested in it too.
The Chief Rabbi of France, Sir Haïm Korsia, who is also a member of the “Institute” (French National Academy), did us the honor of prefacing this work, whose theme is so dear to his heart, as evidenced by his numerous contributions to interreligious dialogues.
This book originates from the biblical studies we did with a pastor friend of mine, related to the messianic organization, “The Shepherd of Israel”. I have retained the essential points and the general framework. I am a member of the Evangelical Church of Versailles for which I regularly give biblical courses and lectures on historical, theological, and social themes as indicated below:
- Under which law do we live: the Napoleonic code, Roman law, or Biblical law?
- The legacy of the 20th century: the ruin of ideologies and the victory of the Bible.
- Reform, Revocation, Revolution, Renaissance in France: or how does the Eternal Almighty God, grant his grace again to our country?
- Ancient Israel: from the foundation to Masada and the dispersion among the nations.
- Modern Israel: from rebirth to the present day or the fulfillment of the biblical promise.
- The Synagogue and the Church: filiation, divorce, and reconciliation
- The Bible and Political Economy: convergences and divergences
- The Evangelical succession: painful birth and affirmation of the Evangelical Churches.
- Preaching: a powerful social act.
- Destinies crossed between France and the United Kingdom: a story of kings, peoples, and God.
- The biblical message and political democracy: why is it born where this one is preached? Historical and contemporary examples.
- Biblical message and entrepreneurship: birth and affirmation of entrepreneurship in the Protestant countries: biblical insights.
- Freedom of worship: the one that conditions all others.
These themes are not exclusive; you can suggest those that particularly interest you in the dialogue space “Contact me”. It will allow us a constructive dialogue in a spirit of research and openness.
At your disposal to talk about it…
